DME Referral Coordinator – OKC


  • Selected professional will provide for the coordination of patient care between the patient, customer service representative, medical staff, and all other customers
  • The Care Coordinator will obtain orders from the physician for requested DME products
  • As a result, orders will be reviewed for medical necessity as required by the patient’s insurance payer, and then assures all required forms, documents and information are received for the execution of the order
  • The Care Coordinator acts as a liaison for the patient, medical personnel and internal and external staff members, to assure patient care is executed throughout the continuum of care


  • The Selected Professional must be well versed in medical insurance processes, benefits, eligibility, and have exemplary communication and organizational skill
  • Above average customer service skill will be required
  • The Care Coordinator may train other personnel on all aspects of the office procedures to cover patient overflow volumes, emergencies, and days off
  • The Company is seeking an individual with a professional image, technical product and office competency, computer literacy including
  • Microsoft Office suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, good judgment, strong time management and decision making skills, and the ability to motivate, manage, and develop self, as well as other personnel


  • BA / BS, or alternative work experience in related field is preferred
